About the service
Which aircraft do you service?
We specialize in ATEC and Ekolot ultralight aircraft. For ATEC we service the Zephyr, Faeta (including the Faeta NG) and Solo; for Ekolot the Topaz, Junior and Elf. We also service aircraft from other manufacturers by arrangement.
Are you an official ATEC service center?
Yes. We are a service center authorized directly by the manufacturer, ATEC v.o.s. The authorization dated 1 September 2025 covers aircraft maintenance, airframe repairs, avionics installation and integration, and service work per the manufacturer's documentation, on ATEC aircraft. Are you the official Ekolot service center and representative?
Yes. We are the official Ekolot service center and the brand's official representative in the Czech Republic — service and sales under one roof.
Are you the only official ATEC and Ekolot service center in the Czech Republic?
Yes, we are the only official ATEC and Ekolot aircraft service center in the Czech Republic. When the ATEC brand split into manufacturing and service, Čekan servis took over the service side.
Who works on the aircraft?
The team is led by Juraj Čekan. The aircraft are looked after by technicians who previously worked in ATEC production — so ATEC aircraft are serviced by the people who built them. A small specialized team means a personal approach and work done properly.
Do you service aircraft other than ATEC and Ekolot?
Yes, by arrangement. We specialize in ATEC and Ekolot aircraft, but we service aircraft from other manufacturers by prior arrangement. Call us and tell us the aircraft type — we will agree on what is needed.
Scope of service
What does the service include?
Under the manufacturer's authorization we carry out routine and advanced maintenance, airframe and systems repairs, implementation of service bulletins, and avionics installation and integration on ATEC aircraft — always per the manufacturer's documentation. After major maintenance or repair we check-fly the aircraft.
Do you check-fly the aircraft after service?
Yes, after major maintenance. A check flight is not part of every job — we fly one where the scope of work calls for it, typically after major maintenance or repair.
Practical information
Where are you located?
We are at Milovice airfield (LKMILO) in the Central Bohemian Region. The airfield is registered as a non-public ultralight airstrip, operated by Aeroklub Milovice z.s.
What are your opening hours?
Monday to Friday 6:30–15:00, always by prior phone arrangement.
